How does solar power work?
Solar panels convert sunlight into direct current (DC) electricity. An inverter then converts the DC electricity into alternating current (AC) electricity, which is used to power your home or business. Any excess electricity is sent back to the grid for others to use — and in many states, you get credited for it.
How much does a solar installation cost?
The cost of a solar installation varies depending on the size of the system, the type of panels used, and the location of your home or business. We offer three pricing tiers: DIY at $1.15/watt, Full Service at $1.59/watt, and Pay Per kWh (PPA) at $0.09/kWh with $0 down. We offer free consultations to provide a customized quote.
What are the benefits of solar power?
Solar power is a renewable energy source that reduces greenhouse gas emissions and helps combat climate change. It also provides energy independence, protects you from rising utility rates, and can save you money on your utility bills over time. With FUSE, you also get a 25-year production guarantee.
What is the 25-year production guarantee?
We guarantee your system will produce the amount of energy we project. If it underperforms, we cover the difference. This includes monitoring, maintenance, and repairs for the full 25 years. It's not just a warranty — it's a promise that your system works as designed.
How long does installation take?
From contract signing to flipping the switch, most installations take 4–8 weeks. This includes design, permitting, equipment delivery, installation, and final city inspection. We'll keep you updated at every step.
Do I need a new roof?
Not necessarily. During our site survey, we assess your roof's condition. If it needs replacement, we can coordinate that as part of your solar project. In many cases, your existing roof is fine for solar installation.
